Agave Isthmensis is a charming and compact dwarf agave — a tight, symmetrical rosette of broad, blue-grey to grey-green leaves edged with dark reddish-brown teeth and tipped with a firm terminal spine. She is bold, sculptural and perfectly proportioned — a collector’s gem in a compact package.
Native to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec in Mexico, Agave Isthmensis is one of the most desirable dwarf agaves for container growing and small garden spaces — offering all the dramatic beauty of a large agave in a compact, manageable size.
