Ripple Jade (Crassula arborescens) is a beautifully textured succulent that sets itself apart from the classic Jade Plant with its distinctively wavy, undulating green leaves edged in a rich reddish-maroon — a striking contrast that gives each leaf a hand-crafted, almost sculptural quality. The rippled leaf margins catch the light beautifully, making this one of the most visually interesting Crassula varieties to grow.
Unlike many succulents, Ripple Jade prefers a slightly more sheltered position — thriving in bright indirect light or morning sun with afternoon shade. Slow-growing and long-lived, it develops into a handsome, shrubby form over time and rewards patient growers with a plant of real character and presence.
